Mother was a loving person who dedicated her life to
children. She was a "Foster Parent"
for hundreds of children in the Indianapolis area during the 1950s and
1960s. After her move from Indianapolis her love for children extended
into the Pendleton Community to 100's of children through her "In-Home"
child care for working mothers during the 1970s and 1980s. After Dad became ill and had to retire Mom took a job as a custodian with the South Madison School System, not only to help financially, but so she could be near the children. After 15 yrs she retired in December 2001 for health reasons. Her love for life and her kindness to all she knew will be greatly missed by family and friends. Husband of 46 yrs: Tom Children: Rick & Diana Grandchildren: Rick Jr, Melissa, Aaron, Austin, Matt, Randi & Dakota Great Grandchildren: Ayla |
